Overview

GLVF is a series of gearless traction elevator models of Japanese elevator manufacturer Fujitec, produced by their Chinese subsidiary Huasheng Fujitec in China in the 2010s. It discontinued around the mid or late 2010s and was succeeded by Fujitec ZEXIA, the current gearless model sold since 2015.

There are at least four models belong to this series:

  • GLVF-D: High speed elevator model for high rise buildings. The speed is only 3.5 or 4 meters per seconds, and the maximum capacity is 2000 kilograms.
  • GLVF-E: Standard passenger elevator model, and is assumed to be a low-entry model in the series. The maximum capacity and speed is 1200 kilograms and 2 meters per second respectively, and it can serve up to 32 floors.
  • GLVF-H: Medium speed model with up to 3 meters per second speed. The maximum capacity is 1600 kilograms and this model can serve up to 40 floors.
  • GLVF-II: Slightly similar to GLVF-H but features a smaller machine room and the maximum speed is 2.5 meters per second.

In Indonesia, GLVF elevators are usually found in high rise apartment buildings as well as some low rise commercial buildings and hotels completed in the early 2010s. The GLVF-E and GLVF-II are probably the most common models.

Characteristics

  • GLVF elevators usually level quick just like other Fujitec models.
  • These are the last known Huasheng Fujitec models to use the standard Fujitec arrival chime. Since the release of the ZEXIA and REXIA models in the mid 2010s, Fujitec began using a completely different chime.
