Overview

Sigma Muse NV logo.

Muse NV (codenamed GPR) is one of Sigma's current machine room less elevator models, produced since 2012. It is the successor of the original Muse model that had been produced since the 2000s.

Like its predecessor, Muse NV is basically a rebadged Otis Gen2. In other words, it is a Korean Otis Gen2 product sold for overseas markets under the Sigma name. However, unlike Muse which was produced at the Changwon factory in South Korea, this model is produced in China just like the rest of Sigma's current models. It is a medium to high capacity model with a maximum capacity of 2000 kilograms.

In Indonesia, this model is mainly seen in shopping centers as well as some middle to high class hotels built in the 2010s.

Characteristics

Muse NV elevators run just like Otis Gen2 elevators. They have a high-pitched motor buzzing noise when they run, and they level quick. The size of the control cabinet is the same as Otis Gen2-Regen, which was also produced in China.

Muse NV elevators initially use the standard Sigma chimes but with a slightly higher pitch. This was changed in 2013 with new chimes that sound very similar to Kone. Both the older and newer chime will sounds when the door starts opening.
