Overview

Solon Premium (known as Solon NV until 2019, codenamed SL-1) is one of Sigma's current machine room less elevator model produced since 2012. It is the successor of Sigma Solon, and unlike Solon which was produced in South Korea, this model is produced in China. It was initially known as Solon NV. In March 2024, Solon 2.0 was released as a successor of this model.

In Indonesia, this model is mainly found in low rise hotels built since the 2010s.

Characteristics

Solon Premium is almost similar to its predecessor. One of the notable differences is that it uses Shanghai STEP controllers from China rather than the SKA or ACD controls from Otis Korea. The motor brake sound can sometimes be heard when the elevator stops.

Standard fixtures

The fixtures used in the third generation Sigma elevators are the same as the ones used in the second generation elevators apart from minor changes. Most elevators now use red LED dot matrix display for the floor indicators.

Apart from the round and rectangle stainless steel buttons, there is also a white rectangular button which light up entirely when pressed.

Different fixtures (1)

These fixtures consist of silver concave buttons (similar to Otis) with blue illumination and LCD floor indicators with segmented characters. There is also a slightly different variation which comes with the standard round stainless steel buttons and a floor indicator with a red segmented display and a speedometer.

Different fixtures (2)

Available since 2018, these fixtures consist of round stainless steel buttons with white or blue light and LCD floor indicators with white segmented characters.

Touch fixtures

These fixtures were released in 2018 as a replacement of MiniTouch. The buttons are touch sensitive on a glass panel and light up white, while the floor indicators are LCD with white segments over a black background.
