Overview

ZEXIA is a passenger elevator model of Fujitec, produced since 2014[1][2] by Huasheng Fujitec in China. It a model of gearless traction elevator with machine room for low to high rise buildings, and is a successor of the Fujitec GLVF series.

Characteristics

  • ZEXIA elevators have advanced door opening. In other words, the door opens immediately as soon as the elevator arrives.
  • Unlike its predecessors, ZEXIA (and also REXIA) uses a different arrival chime rather than Fujitec's own chime.

Fixtures

Older fixtures (2015-2018)

The standard fixtures used in older ZEXIA elevators are white glass like panels that are mounted on the walls. Regular stainless steel panels were also available.

Buttons

There are five types of buttons and all of them are round:

  • CP-C1: White resin button with orange illuminating halo.
  • CP-C2: Dark resin button with orange illuminating number.
  • CP-03: A variant of CP-C1 with braille.
  • CP-D1: Stainless steel button with orange illuminating halo.
  • CP-D3: A variant of CP-D1 with braille.

On some installations, the door open button is wider and is marked green to avoid confusion with the door close button. Alarm button is always yellow.

Floor indicators and hall lanterns

The floor indicator could be the standard Fujitec LED dot matrix or a colored LCD display.

Newer fixtures (2018-current)

These fixtures were introduced in 2018 when the model was updated.

Buttons

The buttons are round silver with an orange illuminating tactile and halo. The CP-D1 or CP-D3 series buttons can also be used. On some installations, the door open button is wider and is marked green to avoid confusion with the door close button. Alarm button is always yellow.

Floor indicators and hall lanterns

The floor indicators can be the standard LED dot matrix, or a black LCD display with white characters.
