Overview
LEHY-II is a model of gearless traction elevator (with a smaller machine room) produced by Shanghai Mitsubishi between the 2000s and the late 2010s. Part of the LEHY gearless elevator series, it is designed for low to mid rise residential and commercial buildings. In Indonesia, it is usually seen in high rise apartments, hotels and medium sized shopping centers.
A large-capacity variant of LEHY-II, with a 1600-2500 kilograms capacity range, is called LEHY-IIW
The successor and improvement of LEHY-II is called LEHY-III, which was released around the mid 2010s. LEHY-II was discontinued in the late 2010s.
Characteristics
LEHY-II elevators usually have rather loud brake sound when the elevator stops and starts up.

Buttons
There are four types of buttons used in this model:
- Flushed round silver button with orange illuminating halo and letter
- Concave round silver button with braille and orange illuminating halo and letter
- White round button with white illumination
- Square silver button with white illuminating letter and orange illuminating edges (this button is always paired with LCD indicators)
Floor indicators
The floor indicator display can be the standard Mitsubishi LED dot matrix, or two different types of LCD display.
