Overview

An Otis Gen2 Premier elevator in Bandung.

Gen2 Premier was one of the first Otis Gen2 variants known to sold in Indonesia in the 2000s. Produced in China, it was mainly aimed for residential and commercial buildings. The design is very similar to the Otis 3200 or Otis Spec Alza and Creces elevators, albeit with different buttons.

It was discontinued sometime in the late 2000s and replaced by the Gen2-Regen, a newer Gen2 variant produced by Otis's Chinese subsidiary Xizi Otis (now Otis Electric). In the late 2010s, the model returned to the product lineup as a newly improved model and is now the current Gen2 model sold in Indonesia replacing the Gen2-Regen.

Characteristics

  • It looks similar to the Otis 3200 in terms of design and aesthetics, except that this is a machine room less type.
  • Thicker door sills with an OTIS logo on the middle.
